I noticed something that I hope is just something to be cleaned up with future releases.
I have my folder options to show hidden files. On the desktop, the Desktop.ini file now appears. I assume because this is no longer hidden. I want to make sure I'm not the only one that this happens to. Even if I delete it, it will come back because it gets re-created.
Hopefully this will be an exception to not display on the desktop in a future release.

Yes. If you set Windows Explorer to show hidden files then desktop.ini shows up on the desktop, faded to show that it's a hidden file.

I had the same thing on my desktop. I deleted it with no ill effects. YMMV.

I have the same thing also, and that was not te case with XP even when folder options will show hidden files.
